Importance of Your GPA
Your GPA is an indicator of your academic performance. Many factors can play into how a student performs (time management, stress level, familiarity with the subject, motivation). Having a good GPA is important for a variety of reasons. Many employers use a GPA to narrow the field of applicants. For students that wish to continue their education, GPA plays an important role in graduate school admission. Consequently, students should regularly monitor their GPA throughout their college career.
Below are some tools to help you when calculating your GPA. If you have any questions or would like to have an academic advisor estimate your GPA, you should schedule an appointment.
